Accommodation Summary:
This beautiful property (major refurbishments completed March 2019) is bright and spacious and is furnished to a high standard. The large hallway opens into a huge, beautiful split-level dining room and lounge with lovely high ceilings. The accommodation is situated in a quiet and exclusive residential area but within easy walking distance of a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. It is only a couple of minutes drive from the old harbour area and the fabulous golden beaches of Puerto del Carmen.

The large, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has all the facilities required for a self-catering holiday including oven/hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and washing machine.

The large hallway opens into a huge, beautiful split-level dining room with large dining table, seating for 12 and lounge with lovely high ceilings, comfortable sofas, TV with Satellite System (including BBC/ITV/CH4/CH5 and all SKY Channels obtained in Lanzarote). Glass doors lead to the pool area.
Accommodation Exterior:
The electrically heated swimming pool (Nov to April inclusive) has wide Roman steps, has a small baby pool attached and is set in extensive open and covered terraces. There is a poolside shower, patio furniture, sun loungers and built-in barbecue and the entire area is surrounded by high walls which gives complete privacy and provides a perfect sun trap.
There is also a pool table and dart board for extra amusement.

Accessibility:
The property has a split level lounge, the surrounding area is flat with a hill down to the resort.
Wheel chair accessible: Front entrance gate leading to front door 99cm wide, front door 75cm wide and all internal door widths are in excess of 73cm.
There is one step in front of the entrance gate-temporary ramp provided, off the lounge there are two steps to the dining area and kitchen- temporary ramp provided. Also off the lounge, two further steps leading to four of the bedrooms- temporary ramp provided.

Cartaphilus is conveniently located next door (adjoining lockable garden gate) to Cristal making it ideal for large families or groups of up to 24 people to reserve both properties.

Cartaphilus is situated in Los Mojones, a quiet sought after residential area close to the Old town of Puerto del Carmen The busy resort of Puerto del Carmen started life as a fishing village and now boasts all the facilities and amenities of a Spanish holiday town, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. A variety of restaurants offer multiple options for the visitor to decide where to eat. From traditional restaurants, offering typical local products and establishments specialized in national and international cuisine with dishes from around the world. There is a long sandy beach where sun beds and shades are available for hire and in addition various water sports available. There is a reliable and inexpensive bus and taxi service allowing you to explore all areas easily. The popular marina of Puerto Calero is a short drive or you can take the taxi boat from the old town harbour to spend a relaxing afternoon watching the boats. Activities include: Theme park, boat trips, Deep sea fishing, island excursions, golf course, diving, mini golf, go karting, tennis, sports centre, bike hire, shopping centre, spas and wellness centres, horse riding (in Macher village), whale museum (Puerto Calero) Water Park (Costa Teguise)
